Bershka Shopping in Mumbai – My Honest Review & Best Deals!

Bershka is a Spanish fashion brand that has gained immense popularity worldwide. It recently opened its first store in India at Palladium Mall, Lower Parel, Mumbai. The Bershka store in Mumbai has quickly attracted a lot of attention from fashion enthusiasts. As someone who loves exploring new fashion brands, I was excited to visit the store and experience Bershka shopping firsthand.

Inside the First Bershka Store in Mumbai

The moment I approached the store, I noticed that many shoppers, especially young women, were carrying Bershka shopping bags. This instantly created curiosity and set my expectations high. However, when I entered, I felt that the store was relatively small compared to brands like Zara or H&M. Despite its size, the store had a vibrant and energetic vibe, making it an attractive shopping destination.

Bershka Women’s Collection – Stylish but Limited Sizing

I was particularly drawn to the women’s collection at Bershka. The styles were trendy, chic, and perfect for casual and party wear. However, one major drawback was the limited size range. Most of the women’s clothing was available only in XXS, XS, S, and M, with no options for L or XL. Given that the average Indian woman typically falls within the L or XL size category, this was quite disappointing.

Additionally, Bershka offers a teen collection, where the sizes overlap with adult clothing. The XXS, S, and M sizes in the women’s section also had an equivalent size of 10-12 years in the teen section. While this is convenient for younger shoppers, it further highlights the lack of inclusivity in sizing.

There was also a nice Bershka jeans collection, ranging from rhinestone jeans to liner trousers. Everything in bottoms was well-stocked, making it a great section for denim lovers.

A noticeable trend in the store was the presence of Summer 2025 colours, including pastel blues, soft lilacs, vibrant corals, and earthy greens. These shades dominated the women’s collection, making it easy to pick up trendy outfits for the upcoming season.

Bershka Men’s Collection – Could Be Better

Although I primarily visited Bershka for women’s fashion, I also explored the men’s collection. To be honest, I found it quite average. The designs were simple and lacked the stylish appeal that Bershka is known for in women’s fashion. If I were to compare, I would still prefer Zara over Bershka for men’s clothing. That said, Bershka does offer some decent basics and casual wear, but nothing that stood out significantly.

Accessories & Mobile Covers – A Pleasant Surprise

One of the highlights of Bershka shopping was the essential accessories section. They had an amazing variety of mobile covers, wallets, jewelry, and accessories. If you love stylish phone cases or minimalistic accessories or chunky jewelry, this section is worth checking out.

Berska’s Changing Room Experience

The changing rooms at Bershka have a clean, white interior, making them feel spacious and modern. However, there were no hooks or places to hang clothes and bags, which was quite inconvenient. The only available space was a small shelf to keep your phone or wallet. While this isn’t a deal-breaker, it’s definitely something they could improve for a better shopping experience.

Return & Exchange Policy of Bershka

Bershka offers a 30-day return and exchange policy, similar to Zara. The refund amount depends on the mode of payment used for the purchase. If you paid via cash, you get cash, while online transactions are refunded directly to the source account. This flexibility makes it easier for customers to shop without hesitation.

Despite the limited sizing options, I still enjoyed Bershka shopping, especially for women’s fashion and accessories. The trendy styles, energetic vibe, and affordable offers make it a store worth visiting. However, for men’s clothing, I would still prefer Zara. Hopefully, Bershka expands its size range to be more inclusive for Indian shoppers in the future.
